1965-70 Pontiac Full Size Car Axle Shaft Assembly #9783561 Fits: All 1965-70 Full Size Car Pontiac Models Catalina, Catalina Ventura, Bonneville, Star Chief, Safari & Executive and 1965-68 Grand Prix This listing is for one axle shaft that fits the OEM GM differential that came in all 1965-70 Full Size Pontiacs. The OEM differential has a 10 bolt cover with a 12 bolt ring gear. Lug Pattern: 5 on 5 (RH Thread) Side: RH & LH Axles are the same (fits either side) Number of Splines: 31 Measurement (back of axle to top of spline): 31.5" + / - depending on GM's Mfr. All the axles that we are selling have been cleaned and inspected and are in very nice condition with no rust issues, broken studs or chipped splines . All our axles come with the factory mounting plate and a used bearing still installed. Most used bearings are still in good usable condition. The inner bearing race is still firmly attached to the axle (this is the area where the axles can go bad). For safety reasons we highly suggest that you replace the used bearing even if it functions properly. All our axles are stamped " FPP " our company initials for identification.
